I need to find drivers for Lamaqq 56k v.90 SGS External USB Data/Fax Modem. I have windows 7 Toshiba laptop

You could be out-of-luck, since the 'www.lamaqq.com' web-site is no longer owned by Lamaqq -- it now is a "place-holder" web-site.

Try: http://list.driverguide.com/list/company2433/
but this page only has device-drivers up to Windows XP -- no Vista and no 7 support, but the XP drivers can be tried.

I don't have driver usb hfs modem, how toget the driver ????

1. Where can I get drivers for my Rockwell/Conexant HCF or HSF modem for Windows XP, or I am having difficulty installing my modem in Windows XP?

Conexant has worked with Microsoft to ensure that many PCI modems are supported using a generic data/fax driver that is available on the XP distribution CD, therefore in the majority of cases your modem should automatically be detected and the generic driver correctly installed. Run the List Modem application (listmodem_app.zip) found on the Modem Driver Assistance page to find out if your modem is supported in the inbuild driver on WinXP. If the answer to "WinXp Inbuild Support" is yes, then your modem will work after upgrading to WinXP even when you run the compatibility test before upgrading and you get a warning. However the XP distribution CD does not have drivers for Conexant USB modems or modems that interface to the PC using the AC-Link bus. The AC-Link bus is primarily used in notebook PC's and some desktop PC's. In these cases it is necessary to download the correct driver from the manufacturer before upgrading to XP. If you get the message shown below and you have a notebook PC use the links below to obtain XP drivers.

Example XP Error Message: xperror.gifIf you do not have one of these PC's it means that the current driver that you are using in your previous operating system is not compatible with Windows XP, however if you have a PCI modem it is very likely that your modem will be supported by the driver available on the distribution CD and will work when you upgrade to Windows XP, and you should proceed with the upgrade. Modem Driver

To download the most appropriate modem driver for your Windows XP computer, a few steps is indispensible to finish the whole process.

Step 1
Look at the modem. Write down the make and model. If you have a dial-up modem in your computer, take the panel on the tower off. Shine the flashlight on the device. On the circuit board, the manufacturer and/or model number is present.

Step 2
Locate an Internet connection. To download Windows XP modem drivers, go to the library or someone's home where the Internet is able to connect. If you have another working modem in your house, you can download them directly to your computer.

Step 3
Go to the manufacturer's official website or a Windows XP modem driver's web page. Windows XP Drivers, Drivers Kit and Driver Support Registry have modem drivers for the Windows XP operating system.

Step 4
Click on the modem device. Select the manufacturer of the modem. Some of the driver sites are XP only, while others are all drivers. You will have the chance to choose your operating system before downloading. Click on the "Download" tab. Wait approximately 10 minutes, depending on the speed of the PC and Internet connection.

Step 5
Burn it to a disk. If you are at another location, you need to burn to CD/DVD for transportation.

Unable to send out faxes..

Hi ammity,

It really sounds like a driver issue that your having. HERE a site that is the manufacture of the modem/fax, and they have a modem central that gives assistance to problem modems/fax's. You will need to agree to the acceptance, but they might solve your problem. The other thing that you can do, is faxing from your cable modem as well. There are all kinds of programs that allow faxing via the internet. And since you make it FixYa, you can fax through the router and forget the ol'e fax modem.

Good Luck

Modem

your modem will need its own driver as well as your sound, which is not built into windows, but its only got an intel chip on the modem, so click below for the driver for your modem, but you will need to find out your audio make as to where to get the driver. http://developer.intel.com/design/modems/support/drivers.htm
