It is possible that the paper guide in Tray 2 is not properly aligned, which could cause the paper to jam just before the fuser. Another possibility is that there is something blocking the paper path in Tray 2, such as a piece of debris or a torn piece of paper.

50.9 Fuser Error
This is a fuser error, it could be a faulty thermal sensor on the fuser but can also be caused by a faulty power supply. This model commonly has dry joints in the power supply which can be fixed depending on your level of skill.
The service 50 error indicates a bad fuser assembly. You can get one on Ebay for less than $50. To replace the fuser just open the door on the back of the printer, inside you will see the fuser, unscrew the 2 screws and pull the old one out. Insert the new fuser and screw it down, power on the printer and you should be good to go.
I hope this helps, If so please rate our solution.
Is it a new or refurbished fuser? Where exactly does it jam. By trays, registration or before fuser? Problem can be with various sections. Need to know more.
Put a maintence kit in your machine, easy install, everything just clicks in, Every 200 000 prints it should be done, it includes the fuser, all feed rollers, sep pad and transfer roller.
These are great printing machine, they only ever need the MK and on this model a fuser drive gear wears and get noisy, but once that has been done once, it is ok from then on.
KIts seem expensive but they are meant to last 200 000 prints and usally do. These are one of the best most reliable printers in the market.
Are you telling the machine that paper type is letter head or envelopes, It must be done, it changes temp of fuser to suit the paper type, no it is not a power supply problem change paper type to card stock/thick/letterhead etc to suit then machine will adjust temp to suit.. ie file, print properties paper type.
