Ok guys so mine was showing the same code. E2. I decided to open the cover and after looking at it for a few minutes. I ended up noticing this wire loose. So I unplugged the wire all the way and connected it back and now it's running. Give it a try guys all I need was a small screw Philip screw driver hope this helps .

This is a speed sensor error. Unplug the unit then remove the motor shroud locate the power board with LED lights plug in unit locate the 5v DC if this is on then replace the speed sensor. The sensor is located on the frame by the front roller pulley or on the Drive Motor itself. Hello! , having problems with my treadmill. When the key is inserted, all lights go on and the incline works fine, but when you press start to start walking, the belt does not move and display E2.

Error code E2 on a treadmill typically indicates a problem with the speed sensor. The speed sensor is a small device that measures the speed of the treadmill belt and sends a signal to the treadmill's control panel. If the sensor is not functioning properly, it can cause the treadmill to display an E2 error and prevent the belt from moving.
There are a few potential causes of an E2 error on a treadmill:
  1. The speed sensor may be loose or misaligned. Make sure that the sensor is securely attached to the treadmill frame and properly aligned with the magnet on the flywheel.
  2. The speed sensor wire may be damaged. Check the wire for any visible damage, such as fraying or cuts.
  3. The control panel may be malfunctioning. If the error persists even after checking the sensor and wire, the control panel itself may be the issue. In this case, it may be necessary to have the treadmill serviced by a professional.
I hope this information is helpful. If you continue to experience problems with your treadmill, it is recommended to have it serviced by a professional to ensure that it is functioning safely and correctly.

My Trimline treadmill 1050.E2 is showing an 'E2' on its screen and not working any more.

Hello all,

I have the same issue - it Shows "E2" on the time Display...

I already checked the Speed sensor and inclination potentiometer and both are OK... Moreover, I found that EEPROM Memory (Microchip 93LC46) is broken (reads "00"). After replacing it, I Need a way to reset / recalibrate the treadmill. I found on some Forums that there shall be a key combination (Speed+ & Start / Stop or similar) but None works for me. Could you please (if available) post the User Manual page describing the calibration entry? Or, maybe, advice a way to calibrate the 1050? Even the EEPROM Content (I guess the it is an issue) will be really helpful. Thank you in advance,

Milos
