I have a faema due automatic single group. Works fine except I cannot program shots. I hold down the "stop" button as per the manual, but there is no "beep" initiating the programming mode. What is wrong?

Hold down button for 8 to 10 seconds. If that is not working then you might have the older model in which you have to hold down the stop plus the button that you are programming until you get the desired volume then release button and stop button.

How to reset the program of faema x30

Hey, Follow these instructions to reset the program on a Faema X30 coffee maker. Make sure the machine is turned off first. Next, simultaneously push and hold the "Stop" and "Steam" buttons. Press and hold these buttons to start the appliance. Hold the buttons down while waiting for the display to say "Reset." To finalize the reset, let go of the buttons and push the "Stop" button. The computer will restart, and the program's settings will be restored to their original values. Always refer to the user manual for detailed instructions tailored to your particular machine model. Thank You!

Cimbali m29 selectron 2gr espresso machine. power outage from electrical source. when power was restored, tank heats up and comes to pressure, however no water will dispense from heads...

* You will need to program groups again.
* I'm surprised I did not record and upload a programing video *sigh*
Oh well, somebody did it already:(check at 3:57 on the following vid)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0-3SbS-PU4Y
* Set up each shot with a filled portafilter (for the appropriate dose setting. Single for single, double for double, etc.)
* Press and hold "Stop" button till it light (and/or beeps). Release stop button
* press and HOLD the appropriate dose button (within 5 seconds or it cancels out)
* Watch the coffee dose as it pours out into cup or a shot glass (for accuracy)
* Release the dose button just before it hits the desired amount. You may have to do this several times to practice.
* Continue with setting the dose on the other settings (long, double, etc.)
* Note; you can set the "least used group" as in a 3 or 4 group head machine with specialty doses. Like a triple if you have the proper portafilter for this shot. Or an "American" long shot (though I don't recommend running 6-8 oz of water through a single coffee dose. Though I have found some shops using drip coffee through a triple basket and very long dose to fill mugs. They didn't want to get a regular 12 cup brewer.)
* There are other dosing tricks like copy over to other groups. But I've found that setting each group and dose is good practice. (and I have to do it several times a day as a Espresso Tech.)

I have a Faema E91 3 group and all the buttons click and work except two.

Try reprogramming buttons if that doesn't work, then the keypad is going out.

Faema smart a2 espresso machine i need to reprogram it is there any one can help me out

Assuming you've got a grind which brews out correctly when manually brewed.....
Fill and tamp a portafilter, ready. Press and hold 'stop' pad until machine beeps. Tap the pad you want to program. Lock in the portafilter. Press and hold the pad until you get the volume required. Press 'stop' to exit programming, the machine will stop beeping.

I have a Faema Due espresso machine and I need to know about the correct use of the red cup symbols over the heads. Can you help please.

Faema Due depending on the model semi or auto has either 6 buttons for auto and any where from 1 to 2 for semi. There are 2 short level cups single and double and 2 long level cups. They are for ristretto or restricted and lungo or long, but if you only use 2 ounce or 3 ounce shots depending on your preference. I usually set all buttons to shop preference because in the US most shops either do 2oz or 3oz espresso shots. The cup with the dots above it is continuous run and ofcourse the stop is... On the semi you have one cup and stop or a push button.

Water flow

You will have to adjust your shot timing, and possibly your grind. To program the shot timing, hold the Brew Stop button until all of the brew lights come on; That means all of the buttons are ready to program. Next, pull some grind for your portafilter and push the button you want to program. For a single, you want to pull a 1 oz shot in about 15-20 seconds; longer for a double. When you push the button, the shot will start to pull; when the shot is complete, push the button again to set it. Then do the same for the next button. Each group needs to be programed separately. Holding the the Brew Stop button again will turn out the remaining lights and save your programming to that point. As to the grind, you want to have the grind fine enough to give you a quality shot in the right amount of time. Good Luck!
