There is an access panels on some package units. If you cant find the access panel then remove the top. I use a garden house. Make sure to kill the power to the unit before servicing.

Goodman central air conditioning. Little air is coming from the vents in the house and the air that is coming out isnt very cold

have the central unit blower/fan cleaned as they block up from dust and other particles so that they eventually look like logs and do not move air like they should. Have the unit gas pressure tested for correct amount of gas

How do I access the evaporator coil for my AC unit

Hello, usually it is not a easy task. You must cut into the plenum where the evaporator coil is located and then cover the hole back up with sheet metal. Also, be very carfull when you cut into the plenum so you dont puncture the evaporator coil.

The unit is not getting cool

have you cleaned the evaporator and outside condenser coils lately, try this first, then check unit pressures with a manifold gauge, also if compressor doesnt run but outside fan runs,it could be your compressor start capacitor, normally its a dual stage cap marked F for FAN and HERM for compressor and will have two "MFD" ratings and be either rated @ 370 or 440 volts A.C.

GSC130241AE Goodman Air conditioner does not restart

It could be a bad thermostat. When the unit isnt working does the tubing frostup? If you have heavy frost in the evaporator this could mean a leak or a dirty coil. Also make sure the filter is clean.
