SOURCE: messege * load mp tray * but tray has plenty of

MP tray is not the cassette it this flap that pulls down above it.

The machine will revert to asking to place paper in its MP tray when the information it is receiving about the document from whatever program tell it that the size is not the same as what the cassette is set to...

so, check page size in of document in word program or whatever you are using

also check paper type and size settings match those you just checked in the printers properties under printers in control panel.

If you put a piece of paper in the MANUAL BYPASS TRAY bot the cassette it will print on that.

To get evverything back to normal, turn off printer, delete jobs in print que, change paper size of document in word/excell/etc is set same as paper type in printer, print again.. all should be good...

p.s. these are good quality printers that why I bother to answer you... cheers

SOURCE: User printing envelopes from MP tray. Envelope is

Printing with envelopes is a hit and miss affair. The best ones to use are the ones you have to lick. Dont think of using the ones where you have to peel the strip off. Also make sure you tell the pc that you are printing evelopes as this will allow the fuser to run cooler so as not to melt the adhesive too much. crinkling is usually down to excessive heat.

Canon 4570dn squeals loudly when drawing from MP Tray

Hi
It sound like friction noises. it could be because of the rollers and lubrictaion on gears that got hard creating the noise and also produce strain on the feed motor . I would sugest a good service on all mechanical parts.

How to print envelopes aficio ricio mp c4500

On an MP-C4500, envelopes must be printed using the bypass tray (the fold-out tray on the right hand side). Put the envelope in face-down and tighten the two fences so the envelope is snug.

When printing the envelope, make sure the print driver is set for the correct envelope size. If envelopes tend to jam in the printer, try setting the bypass paper type for thick paper.

IBM infoprint 1422 won't feed through paper tray, only works with mp loader

Ok.... I have these printers at work...and i think i have figured this one out :
Under setup menu , goto configure mp , then switch the settings from cassette to manual. You see these printers are used at Hotels where the bottom tray is for legal size paper used to make key packets and the mp is used for regular sized paper printing reciepts....Hilton family hotels use them for example....the next thing I'm trying to figure out is how to set it so I won't have to push the go button every time I print something

My HP LaserJet 4200 prints fine from tray 2, but will NOT print envelopes from tray 1. It WILL print on regular paper from tray 1, but will not print envelopes. What gives? I've already rebooted the

Are there settings on the control panel of your printer?
Is the tray 1 the MP tray? (The one that flips towards you)
If so, can you change the settings of the Tray 1 to Envelope on the control panel?

I hope this helps.

Can't print from the MP tray?

When you print labels or envelopes you need to select the correct tray from the print menu. (File print or ctrl P) or the printer will think the normal paper tray is being used.

You can force the printer to change the tray after the print has been sent by pressing the continue button on the printer, just make sure that the normal tray has no paper in it.
