If you tip the washer back you can get at it from the bottom. It is not easy , but easier than taking the washer apart.

I have the LG wm2487h*ma front load washer. My washer is filling up with water when not in use. When I wash a load, the water does not go in the washer. Have opened the door thinking the wash cycle is done...

The problem would appear to be the water inlet solenoid valve.
The valve is not operating correctly for some reason allowing water into the machine even when switched off

I have an error code that looks like an upside-down F and an E. The washer stops, beeps and flashes this symbol. Thank you.

Hi

Error Upside F & E means thermistor error. To access the thermistor--
1. Disassemble the Back cover. 2. Unscrew a screw from the Tub. 3. Unplug the white connector from the thermistor. 4. Pull it out by holding the bracket of the thermistor.
Hope this helps... Please post back if you need more information.

My clothes were in the washer and when I went down to check there was an error code. LE The clothes were still wet, and appeared to not have gone through the rinse cycle.

The LE is caused by over sudsing OR clothing trapped between the tubs. The LE: hall sensor shorted/destroyed from sudslock or clothes between tub. Correct the issue and party on.

LG errors:
IE: Water level (246) was not reached in 8 minutes
UE: Imbalance: Load too, small too large
OE: Drain problem took longer than 10 minutes to drain
FE: Overflow issue drain pump running to comp
PE: pressure sensor (sensor out)
dE: door error. open door. switch is out
LE (with a a slash in the
middle of L. Upside down F) Thermistor out
CE: Over amping Too much soap wrong soap
LE: hall sensor shorted/destroyed from sudslock
bE: Ball sensor loose connection/out of order
EE: eeprom out test mode only
PF: power failure momentary interuption of shocktricity

Getting a "te" error code -- a heating issue?

I had the tE or te error (an L with a line through it) error on my LG front loader and my local appliance store sold me the thermistor for $7. I layed the unit on its side and accessed the thermistor through the bottom. It plugs into the bottom of the tank. Blue and white wires. No screws and 1 tie-wrap. (Leave the rubber grommet in - just pull the thermistor rod out.) Works like a champ!

My LG WM2487H has water in the detergent cup at the end of the wash. It has happened twice now.

This is normal.
All LG washers use a siphon system to dispense soap, bleach and fabric softner.
Some times water will remain in the cups depending on the cycle used.

LG Wash WM2487H*MA- how to turn the tub clean feature on?

I have had this problem since I bought my washer. Some days the tub clean cycle will work....most days it won't. They have replaced the main board twice and it's still broken. I've had nothing but bad luck with LG appliances. Also bought a lemon fridge that took 4 repairman visits to fix. I will not buy another LG anything!!

I have an LG WM2487 washer and I'm having several

Addressing your error code: We had the same problem with our washer and couldn't find anyone locally that wanted to even look at it. Hence, I had to find a solution myself. I stumbled onto a sight that had service manuals (not just owner manuals), and found that error code there. What looks like an upsidedown F is actually a lower case T, so the error code is really "tE". This indicates a Thermistor fault.
The Thermistor is located next to the heating element at the botom-front of the drum housing (you will probably have to lay the washer on its back to access it). It is in a soft rubber grommet that protrudes about a half inch out of the housing, just to the right of the heater.
In the case of our washer, when I pulled the Thermistor out of the grommet I noticed some rust on the metal part. I simply rubbed the rust off with my thumb, inspected it again, unplugged and re-connected the connector a couple of times, and tested the washer again.
Results: We have now been using the washer for a couple of days with zero errors, and this was a tenacious fault that interrupted every load before. We are finally happy again with our very expensive appliance. I sincerely hope that this helps you and anyone else with this problem.
