Screen issues son put febreeze on bottom of screen and it wicked inbetween screens tried to clean but now I have a dark area on left side of screen. can i get a new screen? where? what is best way to clean the screen I have? can I make the image bright again? seems like when I put a movie on the problem wasnt there? what should i look for?

It's possible the mirror has dome dust on it from jostling during the move. W dried water spot will do it too. The front screen will come off by removing the screws on the bezel. Be extremely careful cleaning the mirror.Any scratch by a cleaning cloth (never use paper) will permanently ruin it.

I would try screen-cleaning wipes. If this doesn't clear up the screen, or if the Febreeze "etched" the screen, it may not be cleanable. If this make it unusable, the screen -can- be replaced

liquid is never good on those screens-
there are 3 layers to the screen, from inside out, a fresnel screen (etched circle pattern), a lenticular screen (ridge lines top to bottom), and a protective screen ( "Diamond Shield" tinted plexiglass).

the fluid will wick up btween these layers, turn black, then very very slowly recede leaving a waterline mark. It can take months for it to become un-noticeable.

cleaning is possible, but beware, any type of cleaning fluid or spray is going to simulate the exact same problem but to a larger area.
also introducing dust, lint or hair into the layers when separated is almost impossible to avoid.

these pieces, especially the lenticular screen are extremely fragile nylon plastic and is apt to split under its own weight when handling, so beware the project you are about to get involved in...considering the large size.

but it can be done.
Remove all screws around the screen frame from the back of TV and the lower sides. There will be a wiring harness that goes to front buttons- disconnect it. The whole assembly will come off the front of the TV.
Lay it on the floor face down. Remove the screws in around the inside of the screen. The screens are now ready to lift out, one at a time.
IT IS IMPORTANT to not attempt this by yourself. The screen are fragile and large and scratch so easily which appear as a white opaque area when reassembled. Have a helper. Wear cotton gloves while handling as finger prints will be noticeable after you reassemble.
ALSO IMPORTANT- these screen are oriented front and back...in other words they go together in a certain direction...on each screen layer there is a small sticker on its outer edge. Make note of its orientation and reassemble accordingly.
Clean with a cotton cloth and very very little "plastic glass gleaner" (if needed only!).
WIPE EXTREMELY GENTLY in the direction of the grooves on each screen layer- much like cleaning an old vinyl record.
The lenticular screen is the biggest worry as rubbing on the grooved side is so likely to cause damage. Perhaps rubbing should be avoided if possible.
Let them lay out and dry before reassembling. A bottle of compressed air is good to remove debris when layering them back together...a dust free environment is recommended.
Reassembly and installation is just the reverse of dis assembly- remember the wiring harness connector!

It is probably on the inside of your laptop. You might want to take it in and get that checked out. Hope this helps!?

The colors that you should see here are black, yellow, magenta (a reddish purple) and cyan (a dark sky blue). You should notice the diagonal lines above and below the solid horizontal lines. These diagonal lines should be solid from left to right with no gaps.
If there are gaps in the lines or the print diminishes across the page, you should run the "Clean to fix horizontal strips" page a couple more times to try and clear it up. If you still have gaps at the top and bottom, you should "wick" the cartridges by following the steps given below:
1. Please open the "Solution Center" again and go to the "Maintenance" Tab.
2. Select "Install color/black cartridge" and remove the cartridge (or cartridges) from the printer.
3. Get a damp paper towel.
4. Set the ink cartridge right side up on the damp paper towel so that the ink nozzles are against the towel and hold the cartridge in this position for about 15 seconds.
5. Now wipe the print head (on the bottom where the ink comes out) across in one direction only (left to right) until it looks clean.
6. Next dab the cartridge on the towel to make sure that the ink is flowing.
7. Snap the cartridges back into the printer.
8. On your computer, select "Old Cartridge install."
9. Repeat the "Clean to fix horizontal strips" one more time. If this fails to address the problem, the entire procedure may need repeating.
If you have replaced your ink cartridge with a new one and are continuing to experience difficulties with print quality, please try cleaning and wicking the ink cartridge. If this fails to resolve the issue, the maintenance station may have an excess build-up of ink.

Take the top part of the belt and move it gently to the right.
***Note*** please do not pull outwards on the belt. The cartridges should come over towards the left side of the printer. The maintenance station will be on the right side on the bottom of the printer behind the fixed cover. Clean the area with several damp cotton swabs or damp papertowels until the build up of ink is removed.
Once the maintenance station has been cleaned you should "wick" the cartridges. Remove the cartridge from the printer. Get a clean damp paper towel and lay it on a flat surface. Set the ink cartridge right side up, with the ink nozzles touching the towel and hold in this position for about 15 seconds. Then wipe the nozzles across in one direction only (left to right). Repeat this process, each time using a clean spot on the paper towel, until it looks clean. Dab the cartridge on a dry towel to make sure that the ink is flowing.

The screen is two separate pieces of plastic. One is a fresnel screen and the other is a lenticular panel. They act together to disperse the light evenly. Yes the front bezel will come off and the screen will come out. But they are taped together with just a slight air gap between them. The windex was wicked up between the two panels by capillary action of the fluid and space between the panels. Trying to take the screens apart would be easy. The problem is the grooves in the two panels are almost microscopic so any attempt to rub them will leave a mark. Plus unless you have some kind of clean room the slight dust particle or hair that gets left in there will stick out like a sign when it is reassembled and turned on. The only hope to try to correct this is to removed the bezel and then the screens but do not separate them. Then wedge some tooth picks in the very bottom of the edge where the stain is being careful not to push the picks up into the viewing range. Then with a spray bottle of just water try to rinse the windex and wick up the water with a wedge of paper towel just inside the edge. The same action that got the water up there will wick it down.Repeat this several times to delute the windex as mush as you can. It may not get it all away completely but it should make it livable. After the last rinse leave the picks in and left the panels air dry before putting everything back together. The most IMPORTANT thing not to do is to lay the panels flat and flex them, this will allow the two grooved panels to chaff one another and they will be destroyed.

take the front bottom black panel off. it pulls off. unscrew the little panel in the middle. reach up and pull the wires down gently. unplug the 2 conectors gonig to the big metal frame holding the screen in. unscrew the 2-4 screws holding the big metal frame. pull up put screen on sheet to protect it. unscrew the screws holding both of the screens in. Pull apart and clean
