/credit card was lost. We have new one. Kindle will not let me buy a book.

if you have an account with kindle where you can edit the details , go there and edit the credit card details
it is probably in the same area where you can edit your delivery details , pass word , phone number etc

Call Kindle at 1-888-280-4364 and let them know there's a problem. They'll walk you through downloading it onto your device. Make sure your tablet or reader is fully charged and working properly, with an internet connection, when you call.

How can I print my user manual on my Kindle 3G

There are several ways you can print pages from Kindle books:

Highlight the passage you want to print. Highlighted text is stored in "My Notes and Marks" text file in the documents folder. You can then open this file with any word processing software and print the parts that you want
Use Kindle for PC. While having the page in question open, press Alt-PrintScreen. Paste the screenshot from the clipboard into photo processing software like Photoshop or MS Paint and print it from there. If you have Google Picasa installed, it will automatically save thescreenshot
Take a screenshot on the Kindle device by pressing Alt-Shift-G. Screenshots are stored as GIF files in the \documents folder. You can then open them in image processing software and print.
You can plain and simple put your Kindle face down on the copy machine and copy it as a regular piece of paper.

You can download Kindle manuals HERE as PDF files and print them using a PC and printer.

However, the Kindle manual comes as pre-installed eBook on the device... You own one of the finest eBook readers available and want to read its manual printed on paper? :-)

You can download the Kindle user manuals from Amazon Kindle Support as PDF and print them using e.g. a PC or Mac.

However, the Kindle user manual comes as a pre-installed eBook on the device... be serious, you own one of the finest eBook readers available and want to read a paper print-out??? :-)
