I have the 13" durabrand and i don't have the remote for it, but the tv has the standard RCA inputs on the front. when i plug a vcr or dvd player into it i can't figure out how to get it to switch to AUX to view the player! I can't find a menu option to switch to aux anywhere
do i NEED a remote to do this? will a universal remote work?

I was given a dwt1905 tv for my kids without a remote so they would have a tv for there dvd player and games plus cable comes to find out I was not able to control anything I listed above with my cable remote because there is no codes you have to buy the remote from the company I called 3# before I was able to find out anything about a remote the contacted # is 1-800-242-7158 and the cost was 19.99 for a new remote that is the only way you will be able to work the tv with dvd player,game systems and cable I hope this helps........ good luck

Have the same problem, the TV DWT1905 Durabrand will not switch over to AUX or Allow a DVD Player to play when hooked to the front Audio/Video.
Solution: I bought a RF Modulator ($16.99 walmart) which allows you to hook a DVD player to the switch, and the switch to the TV via Coax Cable.
