SOURCE: Toshiba TN43V71 43 in rear projection

Hello WendyOreo,

It sounds like your switching power supply or you High Voltage power supply has malfunctioned. These sections control all power to the TV and can produce the situation you are describing. If you do not have a background in electronics, I would suggest that you have a TV repairperson come over and check your TV out.

I say this because there are voltages in a TV set that can kill, so caution is needed.

I hope this helps

Thank you,

Shuttle83

Where is the radiator drain plug on a 2002 toyota celica

If memory serves me correctly (I changed my rad) its on the right as you face the vehicle from the front, BUT its at the bottom on the side facing the engine, you need to get right underneath and behind the rad and a good torch, it' not easy to find, but look for the white plastic plug with slightly winged top which you just turn. Get the car up as high as possible - it is a squeeze.

I have toshiba theaterveiw and when i turn it on it powers up then it powers down then the red power light blinks on and off

The flashing power light on those Toshibas is usually caused by capacitors on the power board having failed solder connections. I have fixed them before by removing the power board and resoldering the capacitors. If you have experience with soldering and electronics it is an easy repair. Most shops will recommend replacing the entire board since their labor to repair it would probably cost more. Toshiba put out a service bulletin on this issue which a good technician should be aware of. (If memory serves the capacitors are C109 and C110. Since your TV still turns on you probably haven't blown fuse F860 which often blows when these capacitors act up.)

Is it easy to install memory on my toshiba satellite pro 4600

Memory Upgrade for Toshiba Satellite Pro 4600 800 Laptop, the Toshiba Satellite Pro 4600 800 Laptop takes the PC100 SDRAM SODIMMs. 256MB module must be 1" in height or less Memory Type, and comes installed with 128 MB (removable) of Memory. You can upgrade your Toshiba Satellite Pro 4600 800 Laptop to up to a maximum of 512 MB Memory, the system has 2 sockets to install Memory, already with 128 MB (removable) standard Memory installed. For best Laptop performance use the maximum amount of allowed Memory per slot for your Laptop.

You can obtain your models service manual with instructions for how to replace and upgrade memory from this link. http://www.givemefile.net/smanuals/notebooks/toshiba/file/31033.html

Using multiple card slot

There will be a slot, the size of the SD memory card on the front edge or side of the laptop. The slot will be the same size as the slots in an USB memory card reader.
You can download a manual from the Toshiba WEB site.

You can download any/all the Windows XP or Vista device drivers and manual for your model laptop from the Toshiba WEB site from their download page.
Make sure you enter the model of your laptop so you can get the correct drivers and manual.

I have somehow lost over 120 pictures from my disk. Is it possible to recover them from whatever the .ctg files are?

Hi!
I will assume that you lost pictures from a memory card. If I'm correct, please follow the steps below.

There are a lot of recovery software that you can use to recover deleted files - specially pictures. You can try to use Zero Assumption Recovery. You can download the software at this site:

http://www.z-a-recovery.com/download.htm

It's a free software (you do not neet to pay to use this), and it's easy to use.

Here are the steps that you need to do:
1.) After you install this software, connect your camera or memory card to your PC . Open the Zero Assumption Recovery software.

2.) Click Next. Select "Recover images from the digital camera.." and click Next again.

3.) Select the Physical Device - select your camera or memory card , click Next. [grab a cup of coffee since retrieving the files may take some time depending on the size of the memory (",) ]

4.) After retrieving the files - select all the files that can be recovered. Click Next.

5.) Select the button on the right side (close to Destination) and select where you want to save the files. Click "Start recovering files".

That's it.

I hope that helps.

Good luck and have a nice day!
