I have a frigidair energy star front load washer model GLTF2940E. It was given to me as a gift but I didnt get the manual. I keep getting the error code E70 and it will not complete the wash cycle. What does the error code mean and how do I fix it.

I understand that you are trying to replace the selector knob on your Frigidaire washer, GLTF2940E. Normally this is not a DIY job and we would recommend having a technician come out to the home in order to properly disassemble your front panel and replace the selector knob as needed. How are you trying to reset the unit, and why? Did you see any error code? You can unplug the unit or simply turn the circuit breaker off for 3-5 minutes. This should do the trick, unless there is another root problem.

E10 means that your cold water is coming in too slow, disconnect the cold water hose and check to see if the screen on your washing machine is clogged. If the screen is clean and the hose has good pressure then you will need to replace the water valve on your machine--- this is the piece that the hoses directly connect to.

Sounds like the door sensor has become faulty. Unfortunately this is only a vague symptom,of the actual Root cause Are there any other error codes?.

E59 code means you need a new circuit board and Frigidaire knows it's a problem, but will only step up to repair if you demand it. we're on our second circuit board in 2 years!
