My camera was doing the same thing. I kept trying 4 gb cards, finally read the specs said only 2 gb supported. I put a 2 gb card in the camera and it worked fine.
The camera might not be detecting the memory cards, and reporting that it's internal memory is full. Take the card out of the camera, and transfer the internal memory's pictures to the computer, or delete them, and try the card again. If it still isn't detected, the memory card's fingers inside the camera could be slightly dirty, and you can spray them with electrical contact cleaner, to try to clean them off. If that doesn't work, there is a more serious issue going on with the camera, and it will have to be serviced. Get an estimate on service first, it can be expensive. Good luck, and hope this helps.
Format the card or may be need to change the setting to use card memory not the camera memory

It can only take a 2gb memory card. anything higher than that it won't be able to use. The reason it's saying the memory is full is because it's still using the built in 15mb (something like that)

With the card out of the camera, go into the menu and find "format"...follow the on-screen instructions. Then, insert the card and do the same thing.
