Hello,

unfortunately, Mitsubishi did not make the firmware for this model obtainable from any other source except from them. Maybe you should be patient till they respond to you or you can call then directly via phone call.

But you can visit the below link, there are some Mitsubishi firmware on it. You might find the one that will be compatible with yours.

Good luck.

Okay you did what other people did and really messed up there TV's and now you want to revert back?

The issue here this was a online update there is no file we can give you to put on anything for this to work the reason behind this is because of what just took place with your tv. The firmware is not corupt the thing is the firmware you updated was found to cause more issues then it was worth updating. Facts here is your going to need a expert come to your home and REDO what you did or lets say UNDO. Expect paying more then $20.00 for this you might want to times that by 5.

I do nto know what other answer to give you here then have a service guy ome out that is autherized for this TV. I know some folks at teexp.com you might want to give them a try and see if they can come out and ifx what is going on I think what is happending is your getting poor picture quality when you upgraded!

Mitsubishi WD- 73737 73 in. Screen if dim or dark. Changed contrast, brightness, and restored default settings but that didn't work. Help?

I am not sure about your model but a call to Mitsubishi to ask if the set has one or two mirrors would offer a possible explanation---the ones with two mirrors have a small one at the bottom--it gets coated with dust and brightness drops up to 75 percent----other possible reason is the lamp may be nearing the end of its life.

I would have Mitsubishi look to see if this model uses the two mirrors--if that is the case cleaning will cure this--if you find it has two mirrors I can tell you what is involved--on Vacation but do look here--let me know what you find.
