How do I change language without resetting my receiver?

To change the language, Main Menu > Settings (wrench & screwdriver icon) > arrow down to Language & Keyboard (lips icon) > Text Language (second selection) > select your choice.
Once the text is changed, go back and change the Voice language and the Keyboard language settings.

This reset will delete all user settings: Favorites, Recent destinations, etc.


This option can be found under Main Menu > Change preferences > Reset factory settings.



If you do not have this menu option available, you will need to first select Show ALL menu options, located in the Change preferences menu

NOW!!

1. Once reset, turn your unit back on and you should eventually see the following screen. Tap in the lower-right corner to continue.


2. Tap in the center of the next screen to access the Main Menu.

3. Tap on the blue wrench icon to access Change preferences.


4. Tap on the right-arrow until you see the following Change language icon (designated by 3 flags). Tap on this icon.

5. Now simply tap on your language preference. You will be prompted to confirm your selection. Choose YES to confirm and NO to choose a different language


Last is !!!!!!!!!!!!!

From the main menu screen, select "Change Preferences". Then look for (tap arrow at bottom) "Change Language" button. Tap the language (listed) and follow the instructions to confirm the language selection and choose a voice.

It is normally done under 'Change preference' (look for Spanner image Icon) -> Scroll right Arrow until 'Change language' (look for Flags image Icon) -> Select --> Select an Voice
Just look for the graphic when you bring the menu up as it will be in whatever language!

First, turn it on.

From the map screen, touch anywhere to get to the main menu.

From the main menu, touch Change Preferences.

Scroll through the Preferences screens until you reach Change Language (the icon is a bunch of national flags). Tap it, then choose your language.

To expand SQUIRESXXX's solution a bit:

Scroll through the screens until you reach Change Language (shown by a set of flags). Tap that icon, then select the language you want.

Try entering this into the phone *2767*3855# this is the master reset code so you will loss all your stuff but will reset back to english

on you main menu go to the wrench picture, that is change preferences. Then touch the arrow, above done on the screen 3 times til you reach the screen that has "3 flags flying. that is the icon to change language. touch that, choose english us and you're done.
