The coupling looks fine. No broken parts. Would you know what part of the transmission?

If the drive coupling is ok then the transmission is the problem verify for sure that the coupling is good

My roper top load washer model RTW4300SQ is draining but not spinning.

Sounds like a bad timer contactor, Rotary cycle switch is bad.

My 4 year old roper washer leaves grease on clothes. On spin cycle the machine makes a screaching noise, and the clothes don't spin dry.

Possible that the belt is slipping and also there is some issue with the agitator as the gaps within seems to bring up the dirt or grease mix to the clothes.
So it is important to remove the panel and check the play on the belt, replace if the play is high and check if the agitator bearings are worn out. If so the agitator assembly must be taken out and checked.

Replace the direct drive coupling between the motor and transmission.

I have a Roper washer. It filled with water to wash, but when it came to draining the water to rinse, it just stops. It will add water on rinse cycle, but it will not drain or spin.

Sounds like the lidswitch. As a safety, the tub will not spin if the door is up (open). In turn, it will not drain if it wont spin. This is a common problem with whirlpool washers. You can go to searspartsdirect.com to get the breakdown and order the part.

Clothes come out very wet after the spin cycle - even when I spin them 2 or 3 times, still not much better

If the pump can not drain throughly then there is some water at the bottom at the tube causing this problem.

Washer quit spinning

Sounds like the lid switch has failed. This switch will not allow the drum to spin if it senses that the door is not locked. Have it replaced and that should take care of the problem. Hope this helps. Good luck.

I have a Roper washing machine Model RA58445KQ that will was but wont spin or drain

If you hear a loud noise when you put it into spin then the motor coupler is broken. Very common problem.
