The new Star Trek movie 2009 will not play properly in my Sony 400 Disk Carousel dvd model# DVP-CX777ES. The tracks are playing out of order. The tracks are all mixed up in their sequencing. The dvd plays fine in a stand alone single dvd player.

I Fixed Mine!!! I found that the part that spins and reads the dvds was bad. Luckly i had a spare changer at home to test this. I took it apart and got this info from the part that i replaced.

I had this problem and I found out that the cable I had bought that fit both the Escient and Sony changer wasnt the right one. I went to Fry's and bought one that said null modem on it and file transfer. Then it found the changer and all started coming together
U might have micro scratches in the laser disk surfaces,or smuches.Or if buy from Asia or Europe have region codes differences.
Next time ur disk don't play just take little dish washing soup clean it,so the laser have a clean surfaces to scan & read.
After variety of different tests and findings I have resolved this issue. It appears that the DVD burner was not in good working order and the DVD player was not at fault. Thanks you to all who answered and responded to my problem. Many thanks.
I just got one of these and i notice mine does the same thing. WHat i found that helped mine is tip the unit back a little. The loader uses a little but of gravity to get the disks to roll back into the loader. If its level the wheel sometimes cant spin the disk up into the loader fully. If its tipping back a little the disk will roll back easy into the loader and load it properly.
Also, dont forget if your playing a disk and you want to stop the unit, DONT POWER IT OFF AT THE UNIT. Power the unit off by the remote power this way it will finish its cycle and put the disk back into the proper slot.
