JKExer 8030 overspeed problem

Only 8 months old, but is definetly not reading speed accurately. It doesn't skip, but has started going to fast for the speed shown on the panel. It happened after I moved it. Feels erratic and uncomfortable and is not steady, it seems worse when I speed up to 10K then try to slow down to 8K, doesn't seem to read the speed change properly. When first setting speed its ok, but still a bit to fast..... have tried altering speed sensor didn't work..... advice needed as technicians in the middle east might as well be plumbers! And will try and rip me off and change all of the parts rather than find the problem.....

a very old and 4:5 tubby square LCD monitor.
year 2002 made says service manual.
16 years old today, and like most this of this type do no work that old.
for good reasons (amazing it even glows sure)
you cant fix it, ever. its bad.
time to upgrade for sure.
it is limited by
1280 x 1024@76Hz (read poor resolution)

also we cant see what it is doing here, so can't even begin to make accurate assessments, in text box.
why not go to service shop and ask them.
and pay 2 to 5 times what it is worth to fix it.
or do like all other folks,l buy new or refurb monitor $50
2010 or newer is best, , for LED back lamps started then.,

The cd player goes into a "skipping" "playing really fast" mode occasionally. Esp. 3rd track, 1st cd. Always has.

It's having trouble reading the CDs. The thing that reads it could be dirty. But try a different cd. The CD player is getting old and if there is even a small scratch it will be hard to read it. A new CD player would be the way to go

The treadmill speed is faster than reallife speed. I can easily run 7 minute miles on the roads (not racing, just running) and my wife is an eight minute metronome. But on the treadmill if I set it below...

the speed of treadmills are based on the companies regulations and are machine made. so they might not be 100% accurate. a treadmill is a simulated devise so it is never the same. var fctb_tool=null; function FCTB_Init_c8c9213424bf492d84f2bfaa8e62c574(t) { fctb_tool=t; start(fctb_tool); } FCTB_Init_c8c9213424bf492d84f2bfaa8e62c574(document['FCTB_Init_c3525ba5f17e4280b024b96d82d11976']); delete document['FCTB_Init_c3525ba5f17e4280b024b96d82d11976'] var fctb_tool=null; function FCTB_Init_6836227ebca14782a6c9f0284529fff9(t) { fctb_tool=t; start(fctb_tool); } FCTB_Init_6836227ebca14782a6c9f0284529fff9(document['FCTB_Init_f3124b0bb88c423dafd62627ed1118bc']); delete document['FCTB_Init_f3124b0bb88c423dafd62627ed1118bc']

My friends 2009 Honda CBR 1000 shows about 8mph less than my 2010 Yamaha Majesty. Are there know issues with the Majesty? Could there be something wrong with my bike's speedometer? I just bought it 2...

Sometimes there is some variance between identical new motorcycles. I had friend claim that his BMW speedometer was accurate and my Honda was off by 5 mph. We had the same brand(Dunlop) and size of tire. I changed my tire, same brand(Dunlop), same size, different "style" and now both speedometers read the same speed . This tire was the same number size but mounted stood taller than the old tire. What my friend failed to realize was that his cycle came stock with a Metzeler so he was not reading accurately either. So do not dismay, your friend may not have the correct height tire on his bike. You will have to make some speed runs past on of those signs that tell you how fast you are going and see how accurate your machine is. My 2009 Suzuki DR200 reads 2 MPH slow by the police speed signs.

When I turn on I get an overspeed error and machine shuts off. If I start it at a faster speed the speed fluctuates. I pressed start and menu and the LED says 3.5 but the diagnostic reads 6.8

Your speed sensor is not working properly this part is located under the motor shroud and on top of drive motor it is attached to a bracket with 2 bolts. Unplug the unit and remove motor shroud see if you can adjust it first by loosen the 2 nuts and moving the sensor forward without making contact to the flywheel, then tightened the nuts up. Plug the unit into the outlet, start the unit, if you still have the overspeed then replacement of the sensor is needed. Call Landice Directly they will ask for model and serial number and they will the new sensor.
