Question about Televison & Video
We have an Audiovox MD1988 portable DVD player that seems to have overheated and now will not spin the DVDs. My husband took it apart and thinks the motor is working because it spins the DVD for about 5 seconds.. Maybe a belt. He's very good with fixing things, so any ideas would be welcome.
Overheated?Inside the car with sun directly on it or electrical overheat? In the car-Carry it in the house let it cool to room temp.Open the tray and dry it. You may have experienced a change in temp .Like from hot car to cold indoors. Then use the power adapter,it will run.If it is from ilectrical forget it.
