My daughter has the princess tv along with the dvd player. The dvd player will NOT turn on and also if you push the eject button it wont open. So, I was wondering what there is that i have not done yet that i need to do. I checked to make sure it was plugged in and the power button on the dvd player is red and wont go to green. Please let me know what there is I need to do so she can watch her movies on it.
Same problem with us....that solution is retarded. IT Tech Rep obviously did not read the comments.
our dvd player has worked great for about 2 years. yesterday we went to turn it on and it will not work. it has power, it is hooked up. IT WILL NOT TURN ON. Power light is red, indicating power to unit. pushing the power button does nothing. DVD player will not turn on.
On front of television is the video, left and right audio plug ins. This is where you will plug the adapters from your dvd player. They are color coded for easy installation. Step2Make sure the adapter is also plugged in to back of dvd player. Step3Plug dvd player into power source and turn on. Step4On the front of television there is a tv/av button. Press this button twice or until it says video 2 in upper left hand corner of television. Step5Insert movie into dvd player and enjoy. To get your tv back to cable press tv/av button once.

same problem. My daughter dvd player will not come on. At first it was on but would not open, so I unplugged it, Now it won't come on at all. What can I try before taking it out to be repaired.
We also have used the DVD player for about two years. Now the DVD Player will not turn on. Where can we send for repair???
DVD player will not play. It is cearly on. I have checked all of the cords and have attempted to play disc in the same way that I always have. Sometimes I can hear the disc spinning, and sometimes I can't. There is no picture on the screen other than the DVD logo bouncing around. There is no audio. The DVD player is only a few months old and hasn't been used very much.
We have had the exact same problem...the DVD player was working fine and suddenly stopped playing all movies. No, IT Tech Rep, we are not looking for a "solution to setting up the dvd player". Everything is set up and plugged in correctly; the problem is that the dvd player no longer plays movies. After the movie is placed the dvd player spins, but nothing else happens...almost as though it can not read the dvd. I have tried a dvd cleaner, but that did not help. Thanks for any suggestions!
When plugged in there seems to be a sound that it is powered on, but nothing happens. No light, disc will not come out and now there is a DVD stuck in the player. This is unacceptable. I've tried calling the phone number listed on the player for technical support and the number is not working. Is this what Disney wants out there? ****? I need help with this or I guess it will end up in the trash........
The DVD player is a piece of garbage. I have to unplug it to make it work. It takes like 10 times. I am wondering if there is a number to call?
gee what idiot hasnt already followed those steps the problem is that it works and then one day it just stops and all of the things listed above start happening a dvd player should last at least 3 times longer than this one has i have a cheap $20 one that has been going strong for 4 years but not the $80 Disney one This really sucks.
