I have a flashing Yellow triangle on my Hp LaserJet 1320

On the HP LaserJet 1320, the attention light is a generic alarm. It can mean out of paper, paper jam, paper misfeed, cartridge missing, or cartridge door open. You can try cleaning the pickup roller or changing the separation pad. You can find these maintenance steps in the user manual starting on page 73 (page 83 of the PDF). Unfortunately, it can also indicate that a part has broken from paper pickup unit or the door closed sensor isn't working. At my home when our LaserJet 1320 reached ~10 years old, we got this message and decided to replace the printer. It wasn't worth trying to locate and repair the problem when cleaning the pickup roller and paper path didn't work.

Its indicates attention..1. door open 2. cartridge missed 3. no paper in tray 4. paper jam.
open the door there is notch which pushes the switch check notch broken? reinsert the cartridge check, load paper in tray check paper sensor flag strucked. Lift registration assm plate any paper partials under clean it..

Make sure that the toner isn't empty, and is seater correctly. Make sure that there is paper in the printer and also check every door on the printer to make sure that there are no paper jams anywhere. If there are also other lights blinking, go to the HP website and download the manual for this printer for more specific reasons for the error.

Press and hold green "go" button longer....till the light next to the triangle turns orange. Then release.

There actually was a misfed sheet, hidden at the very bottom of the lower hinged back panel. The reason it was misfed was that this panel had somehow gone off one of its hinges. Ironically I did not discover the misfed sheet until I had taken the printer down from its shelf and turned it over to read the serial number to the extended warranty tech support guy.

Moral: Open every panel carefully, check for misalignment. These printers have flimsy plastic parts.

The symbol for toner low is a box, without a top, with an arrow made of dots pointing up. Insert an new print cartriage.

I ahve the same problem and HP is absolutely NO HELP!! I'm ready to trash a printer that has hardly ever been used.
