LG WM3001HPA Washer interior light is on but will not power up
Purchased this front load unit in Jan. 2009 and have LOVED it until recently. The tub light stays on constantly but the machine will not turn on when the power button is pushed. It will come on when disconnected and reconnected at the outlet and run through its wash cycles properly but when it is complete, again the tub light stays on and the machine will not power up. Any ideas?

have you heard beep when you turn it on? if not washer is off. If it won't turn on could be the power button(or main baord). Compare the touch of power button with the other buttons. Light on means you have power coming to the washer. Thx
Your drain pump assembly impeller has most likely deteriorated. I just replaced the assembly on my unit. There are actually two small motor/pumps. I would recommend replacing them both. You will find the videos of how to do this on youtube.
For the Whirlpool WFW96HEAC front-load washer, the water level adjustment is made by the washer based on the size of the load. If only 3-4 items are in the tub, it will do a small load. If you fill the tub completely, it will do a large load. (Note: if the clothes are packed into the tub, they can't tumble and won't get cleaned.) Loading the tub with clothes until it is 1/2 or 3/4 full are the other load sizes.
Please add a comment with the model of your washer, I'll be glad to give additional help. I hope this helps.
the tub has stabilizers on it ... remove rear panel and make sure the shocks are still attached and or not broke... if all this looks good is the unit on a pedestal if so there have been alot of problems with lg washers and pedestals.... i know your saying well they sell them with the washer as a optional feature ,but they have been giving fits to lg for the last couple of years.... if the shocks look good then most likely you have a bad hall sensor located also in the rear of machine on the part called the stator .the stator is a round device that attaches to the rear of tub and has a copper coil that goes around the entire thing... on this device is a white plasetic device called a hall sensor that measures the spped and balance of unit if unit starts getting out of balance the hall sensor will slow machine down.... good luck to you
No do not replace the shipping bolts. I assume you have a front loading washer. The tub is secured by bolts during transport. Then they have to be removed so that the washer will operate properly without damaging the machine.
Cindy Wells (if you have an top loading washer, shipping bolts are less common. If you provide the model of the washer, I'll see if it is one for which I know the shipping instructions.)
there is a product out which cleans interior of wash tub called affresh which works better that bleach which could be purchased at leows or home depot for about $7 for 3 tabs follow direction on package. remember use he type soap only and you only need 1 oz of soap per load
