Need setup codes for Akai KC01-B2 to run with comcast remote

Mike, there is another solution: if you subscribe for comcast cable, they will retrieve the code for you, without you leaving your place.their remotes are learning and can be programmed remotely via you cable box. If you don't have a valid subscription, there is a problem. You might need to get universal remote, what supports this brand.

I recently bought a used LCT2060 that had no remote. I figured my comcast cable remote would work without a problem but it didn't. So 3 universal remotes later I found my solution...a radio shack universal gamer remote. It controls up to 5 components plus your xbox360, playstation and pc. The price on sale was a mere 12.97, not bad if you ask me. Hope this helped. The code that worked for the Akai was 11676. Take care...

Akai does not publish the remote codes. I had a tough time trying to get my akai LCT42 to work with another remote. I bought an universal remote URC R6 at walmart for $19. I can now operate the tv, u-verse cable box, panasonic surround all from this remote including menu's channel, volume, record with the dvr & more. I hope this helps..........

look in your guide and check the programming procedure for finding an unknown code. it's usually turn the tv on and go into a search mode on the remote and start hiting a button till the tv goes off and then you have just found the code. good luck.

Unable to resolve, there doesn't appear to be a code for the Akai TV that works with Comcast. I called comcast for help.

I have an Akai 42"lct & had the same problem. I bought an universal remote URC R6 at walmart for $19. I can now control the tv, u-vrerse cable, panasonic surround system & still have the aux open. You must use the "learn" method but I can control channels, volume, record, menues for all devices as well as setup, record for dvr & more. I hope this helps.........

true most all the new lcd panels use a new code that no remote has.
about all you will be able to find is the on/off code if you scan for it.
