Battery change Citizen Promaster Watch Model# C112.

My Cyber was working fine and reporting a full charge, but when diving, it would stop working and go into safe mode. I sent it in to Citizen and they replaced the cell, now all is good again.

Hi, I have to change my battery a few days ago, and The jeweller tell me the same as yours. You have to read the manual ... Once the new battery is installed, you have to open the button that is used for analogic command. When done, you must press a few second the three others button to reset the digital part ... That is what I have done with mine, and it works perfectly today ...

Try hitting the backlit button. If your computer resets or dies, you have a battery issue.

Go to "citizen.com" and on the upper right there is a menu. Click on "technical
support" and then on "setting instructions"

Fill in the information required from the back of your watch and then click on
"get setting instructions"

Go to "citizen.com" and click on "watch finder".

Put your watch model into the search box on the left and click on
"search".
Click on the watch to view details.
On the right is a small menu, click on "get technical info"

On the right you you will see a list of instructions you can download

Type "www.citizenwatch.com/COA/English/identifycaliber.asp" into your search engine and this should bring you to a page in the Citizen web site which shows you how to understand the informationon the back of your watch.
