Take off the housing I'll out the turn the spring loaded husing to full extension put a screwdriver to hold it in place replace the cord pull out the screwdriver and replace housing
It sounds like the engine seized up which means the piston is stuck to the cylinder wall. This could be do to a poor fuel to oil mixture, not enough oil mixed with the gasoline. They are not worth repairing
Sounds as if the issue is related to heat. Possible ignition failure when hot. (I see that alot in my shop.) If the unit is new take it to an AUTHORIZED repair shop and it should cost you nothing. Locate your nearest repair shop HERE.
Sounds like you need to take the carb. apart and clean it. I like to use a Den Tek Brush, (used for cleaning teeth), to clean the small ports in carb. they work great for this job. Make sure to either clean or replace the small screen in thcarb. as well.
