Resetting the Camcorder should be easy by going to the right hand side of the camera, which is just below the finger grip. It should be beside the Auto'Manual Focus button just 2 cm to the right. Cheers!
Dare I say it? Get an English version manual. Sorry I couldn't resist.

Hi, I purchsed Panasonic NV GS-70 in 2004 and facing the same problem in transferring videos to computer. I tried for firewire cable option as well, but the camcorder does not have a firewire port.
Can anyone suggest what kind of firewire cable to be used for it.
