I have an lg Xenon cell phone. I charged it all night last night on a standard wall charger. I left it home all day because it got wrapped in a blanket and I couldn't find it in my hurry out the door. I found it around 3 this afternoon unharmed. I had it with me and was using it all day. Then tonight around 9 it started making this obnoxious very loud continuous beeping. The beeping was similar to when I first plug it in to charge mixed with the noise it makes after I click ok or something. Its at its worst when I'm doing anything that has to do with messaging and it only stops when I put it on vibrate. While on a call I won't hear anything for the same amount of time that the beeping usually goes on like the call is on hold even though its not.

Hey i think i just figured out the problem to all the port charging issues for the envy and envy 2 phones with verizon. its not the phones, its the charger cord! the part that goes into the phone. it gets pulled out over time from pulling the cord out of the phone all the time. get a pair of pliers. grab the end and push the metal end of the cord against somthing hard, push it back in so it is at the appropriate depth. this should make it charge properly again!

The charger port is going bad. It happens over time The symptom of this is you have to hold it into place.

The first step is to contact your carrier to see if it is covered under warranty. If it is, great get it replaced.

If not, you have 3 options:

1. you can get the charging port repaired. The cost is about 50 dollars. I recommend Cellulardr.com

2. you can get a new phone. cost ???

3.Youcan get an external battery charger to charger the battery separate fromphone. An extra battery is a good idea as well so you canhave one charging at all times. The best and cheapest place to buy a new charger for yourshine is ebay. They run about 5 dollars shipped. Check out thefollowing link for the selection.

okay call your voicemail which you can do automatically by holding down the one.Then you need to do option 4 which will get you into personal options and then option 3 which you can select before the voice says, and then next option 1 and then 3 and then record your personal greeting. After you are done press pound if you like how it sounds if not press star to make it better. Hope this helped

The charger charges the battery independent of the phone. It is the only one I have found and it works GREAT. I had a couple issues at first but the rep, Matt, bent over backwards to resolve them. I would recommend this charger and company to anybody. The charger is a universal charger and will charge other cell phone batteries as well. The only con is that it does take a little longer to charge than using the port.
