Water returns

You have clogged drain, or the sink drain is not vented.
http://waterheatertimer.org/Plumbing-Vents.html
Each drain must have a vent or the drain gets slow, and gets clogged.
You can add a quick vent inside the wall, as long as the dwelling has main stack vent. Consult local plumber for local code.

I put half a small lemon down the garbage disposal. The disposal kept working fine with the water running, but then it violently threw out water and food particles. I stopped the disposal immediately, the...

Sounds like a clog at or beyond the P trap of the sinks. With water coming back into the sinks, it has to be part of the drain line that is common to both sinks. If you try and unclog the sink, work on the side that does NOT have the garbage disposal in it. A small hand snake for sinks might do the job. You could also try a plunger on either side, but when you do, put a wet rag over the other drain so you are not just pushing air back and forth. Work on one side with the plunger while holding the wet towel down tight over the other drain. Sounds like a clog that was there prior to you putting the lemon in the GD.

Whirlpool Roper Gets to Rinse then water runs but will not fill

The contacts for the outlet pump have fused together in the programmer so that as soon as you apply power the pump motor starts running.

Remove the power first

Quick check is to take off the back panel locate the pump and remove one of the supply leads
put some insulating tape around the end of the lead you have taken off in case it shorts out then put the power back on and try the machine, it should then fill and start to agitate .

If that works then you need a new programmer .

Turn off the power , replace the lead and then put the machine back on to drain out the water

Dble sink, one with the garbage disp. won't drain standing water

It's a drain clog within the disposal. Try a drain cleaner, if no luck, you will likely need to replace it.

Kenmore Ultra Wash III Dishwasher will not drain properly

From the sound of things, your dishwasher drains faster than your sink drain ( via the garbage disposal) can drain it off.. You may have a problem with the way your sink drain/trap is vented and there is too much back pressure to drain down quickly.. When you run water from your sink, does it take a long time to drain down or if you fill your sink up and drain it, does it drain slowly ? That may be your problem.. Hope that helps.

Bosch dishwasher model #shu33A

your dirty water backed up into the washer (which it shouldn't do) and probably clogged something in there,..i would recommend getting it flushed out somehow, not sure how,.....next time, your washer drain hose should go up under the sink as high as possible and then back down to drain,....this settup makes it hard for drain water to go back into washer,....it's instructed in any dishwasher manual

Tarvi...I don't know what the problem is...hard to diagnose these things. If the unit is working correctly, I suggest that you simply cut the power for a few minutes and then restart it. That may clear our a trouble code.
