My viewsonic n3260w

My 32" tv had the fuse go out. when i replaced it the light came on but still no picture. not sure where to go with that

I have almost same problem with you only my Q7 on the power supply was fried and i don't no the p/n the ps board p/n is fsb228-3f01

You need to find out if it is putting out the 24vdc needed by the backlight inverter board, you may have bad shorted out inverter board that may have taken out the fuse, you need to do some probing.

I have a Viewsonic N3260w TV, the Power Indicator light is flashing red continually, but the remote wont start the tv, I have changed the batteries, turned the tv on and off, but the tv still wont...
The problem of your tv is in the power supply. In order to find the power supply of your tv ,you should follow the ac cord. But first you should unplug the unit and open the back cover of your tv there you will find the power supply, try to check the capacitors, it is cylindrical shape and has a plastic cover. Try to observed if their is a wet mark or oil mark that spread in to the pcb then replace it. But when replacing the capacitor you should observed the polarity of the capacitor and replace it exactly the way you pulled it out.

My n3260w tv has a backlight problem. When switched on it flickers for about 25 minutes then rights itself. the left hand side of the screen is darker than the other side but the brightness comes back...
You may have to decide whether it's cheaper to repair the old TV (if you can find a shop) or just buy a new one.

My Viewsonic n3260w has no picture when i raised the Back light. I brought it to a technician and he told me it was the main board. Bought the mainboard and installed a new one and it didn't fix anything....
The tv T-CON board only board left could causes this problems.That the board usally sit at the middle at the botton of the LCD screen panel.Tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a refurbish T-CON board for the replacement.

Power light flickers no other sign of power n3260w ?
If you get a flicker of power light then your problem is in your power supply, I would check for bulging capacitors and replace, if you don't find any then replace power supply, you can check places like shopjimmy.com, or discount-merchant.com or with an s, vancebaldwin.com

I have a n3260w lcd. when i plug it in the red light on the front flash's and the tv willnot turn on. i replaced all the blown caps on the psu. this made no difference. what else could be wrong?
You need to measure the DC output of the power supply to make sure it is putting out all the voltages first. It may be almost the same as N3250W.

Lcd viewsonic tv no picture no sound just verticsl coloured lines
Check to see if you do have 12vdc from the power supply and atthe T-CON board's fuse. Worst case wilbe he LCD panel.

I have the above tv viewsonic n3260w and lost the picture but kept the sound any ideas what may have happened
Ur LCD inverter board is dead.This board help to get the backlight to the LCD screen to make the Tuner board get the tv signal throught.Replaced this LCD inverter board will get ur picture back.Tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a refurbish LCD inverter board for the replacement.It a long board in shape.

I do not know the exact value but if you trace out the copper trace from the rectifier output, it should go to the first filter cap and then there will be an inductor and filter cap after that, you can figure out the voltage rating from there. Viewsonic N3260W made loud pop and will not turn on.
We got the part in today and the hubby fixed the tv. It is as good as new. We are very happy with our $62 purchase.

It worked like a charm and took about 10 minutes to put in new part and put tv back together.
