Try pushing the reset button located inside the dryer housing. (Remove top, then outer housing 'wrap around', reset button is behind the outer 'wrap around' metal in the front of the dryer.)
That appliance is fairly complicated. If you want to service it yourslef, my honest answer is to get the factory service manual from fisher paykel. You can get it here:
Restricted venting is the most likely cause, they did change the thermostats a couple years ago. the small t-stats should look cut out on the metal side they should not be solid, also check to make sure the elements are not shorted to ground.
