Dynex 37" LCD won't power on

I have a Dynex 37" LCD and when I power it on, the green light turns on and I get sound but no picture. I power it off and then turn it back on again right away and I get the picture and sound. I have to do this everytime I turn on the TV. What could be wrong and how can I fix it?

You may either poor 24vdc power supply problem or failing backlight inverter board, you need to check the voltages before and after the set acts up.

Sounds like you are missing your 5VDC standby voltage from the power supply. You either have a blown fuse or a defective power supply. Did this happen out of the blue or after a T-storm???

Sounds like your power supply is shot. Possibly a fuse blown. If its connected to a surge suppressor try plugging it straight into the wall socket.
