Water leak My Novotronic W1918 Miele washer has a bit of a leak. Water runs out from underneath. Do I need to exchange seals?

If there's water underneath the machine, check drainage pump. Most likely gasket or simmering. If necessary replace pump (about $45,00).

If the problem is consistent, FIRST check to make your machine is level. Also try cleaning the machine out with no clothes in it using white vinegar on a hot wash. If you're having a problem with high speed spin with NO load in it, it could be shaft/bearing related which would probably be too expensive to fix. Otherwise you could simply just be adding loads incorrectly or overloading it.

Hi most likely seals on heat exchanger (condenser unit).
Lock heat exchanger in place.the should no movement at all.if movement you will require a rear seal for heat exchanger.Where heat exchanger seals in condenser box clean with scourer. check bottom of door seal for debris.

the fluff filter just needs hand tightening up a bit more to stop the leak. if not there could be a bit of fluff trapped between the seals. Remove it again and have another look. Make sure also you don't cross thread the fluff flter which makes it feel like it is screwed in properly when it isn't

there will be a glass fuse on the power board of the washer it might have cover over it good luck

hi there ....the wiring schemematics can be obtained from meile with no problem .....if you can tell me what area in uk youn reside i can advise you where to obtain your diagrams

Plug off the wall. Unscrew the hoses that bring water to the machine, check the fine meshes on hose as well as machine, clean out well with tooth brush (not yours), see that pressure is good in your wall socket. Refit carefully, check for leaks.
