I have used the red and white audio lead supplied with the surround sound to connect to the red and white connectors on the back of the tv and i still carnt get sound from the external speakers. I run my pc through the surround sound and the speakers were ok. Then i used a lead going from the headphones socket on the tv to input on the surround and this worked but was poor quality and the rear speakers did not work. Please help

hey man just try to see if any thing is in there it can block your electrial current if there is make sure you turn your laptop off before using twezers to pull it out other wise it could fry your motherboard

It on board so its going to take some really good solder work and a new jack from Radioshack. or the other solution is you can buy a sound card from any best buy, computer store or even online for cheaper then you can to fix that professionally.

Connecting audio from TV
When connecting the audio output from your TV to this Home Theater Audio System, you will have the sound of the
TV output on all the speakers. It will enable you to enjoy the multi-channel surround sound capabilities.
Use an audio cable (red/white - not supplied) to connect the TV IN jacks on this DVD system to the AUDIO OUT
jacks on the TV. To listen to the sound, press TV on the remote control as the sound source that you want to play.
Connecting audio from an audio/video device
This DVD system provides analog and digital audio connection. You can connect the audio output from an
audio/video device (e.g. VCR, Cable/Satellite Box) to this Home Theater Audio System in order to enjoy the

Use an audio cable (red/white - not supplied) to connect the AUX IN jacks on this DVD system to the AUDIO OUT
