My washer is displaying a LD code and stopping in the spin cycle with 9 minutes left. It happens with larger loads. We had Sears out and replaced the drain pump without any sucess.

Ld means long drain and is displayed when it takes longer than 5 minutes to pump out the water to a point where the pressure switch resets. To solve this problem make sure that the drain filter pump assembly located inside the bottom front panel is clean and after cleaning if the error returns then the pressure switch needs to be tested and if bad then it needs replacement. Is the machine in Spin Cycle when this is happening? What part of the washer selected cycle does the Cycle Status LED say the machine cycle is in.
If it’s in the Spin Cycle I think you have a clutch issue. Do you take any error codes to the LED console display such as dC or uC?
If you stop the machine in that cycle and do a Spin Only cycle will it complete?

“F21” (AKA SD) is a Long (SLOW) Drain error (LD). If the drain time exceeds 8 minutes this error code will be displayed. In addition, a “SUDS” error may also be displayed. This may be an indication of a drain pump problem and/or clog in the drain line. You will need to check the following:


1.First, attempt to unplug the washer for at LEAST 30 minutes to reset the Central Control Unit (CCU). Sometimes this is all that is required to correct momentary glitches with the unit. If the error code returns, proceed to step 2.
2.Check the drain hose to make sure it is not kinked or clogged.
3.Check the electrical connections to the pump and ensure the pump is running.
4.Remove the drain pump filter and check for foreign objects and/or debris.

If the above procedures do not correct the problem, it is recommended by the manufacturer to replace the drain pump.

IE:

• Water supply is not adequate in
area.
• Water supply taps are not
completely open.
• Water inlet hose is bent.
• The filter of the inlet hose clogged.

Solution:
Check another tap in the house.
Fully open tap.
Straighten hose.
Check the filter of the inlet hose.

UE:
• Load is too small.
• Load is out of balance.
• The appliance has an imbalance
detection and correction system. If
individual heavy articles are loaded
(bath mat, bath robe, etc.) and the
imbalance is too great, after several
attempts to restart the spin cycle the
machine will stop and the error code
will be displayed.

Solution:
Add 1 or 2 similar items to help
balance the load.
Rearrange load to allow proper
spinning.
UE:

The timer is failed.
Replace it.

Sometimes the LD on certain machines can be decieving, It's possible that the error is pointing to a lid lock issue. I'm a sears tech but have logged of my work computer for the night so I can't look it up right now. I just happened to stumble on this forum. In all appliances there is a tech sheet hid somewhere. This will give you more information. On this model, if you press and hold anykey for 3-4 seconds, let it up for 3-4 second and do that 3 times it will show more codes and go into a test cycle. Don't worry you cant screw anything up in the controller. If you or anybody needs help on appliances you can drop me a line. Since that you let repairman do twice and didn't fixed the problem, I think your washer have still warranty from the vendor. and they repair it free.

Please verify the panel board of the machine maybe got grounded in the wiring or got wet. How ever you can do that in your own you should consult the repairman on that matter. however the two repairman did not resolve, so its better to bring the washer's to the vendor. im sure they can fix the issue or you will be enlightened by their valuable suggestion and solution.

hold cancel and start/pause 10sec

last error code will come up.

E47 door lock error

check wires connections to the door lock..

replace door lock..
