pull the panels inside and check the fan usually in a fridge freezer the fan cacks out or is full of ice clean it out and clean the overflow tube if fridge is cold enough then it is the freezer fan
I would replace the defrost termination thermostat. They were a frequent failure item on Frigidaire units I service, causing this condition. Around 8 to 20 dollars depending on vendor. Also check the defrost timer as I have found at least one that was stuck due to mis assembly. (the replacements are from a different vendor). Hope this helps.
Check the temperature setting Assure that there is enough room for air flow in the freezer or freezer Check for air flow restrictions in vents Test the temperature control Clean the condensor coils Check the door seals Test the door switch Test defrost heater Test defrost timer Test evaporator fan Check for a clogged drain tube Check for refrigerant leak Freezer is too cold
Check the temperature setting Test the temperature control Clean the condensor coils Check the outlet voltage Test the condensor fan Test the compressor relay Test the overload protector Test the compressor motor. Hope this help in solving the problem. take care....
You will need to turn the unit off and let it completely unthaw. There is frost that builds up in the ducts and behind the panels when the door is left open that will cause the unit to not cool or circulate where needed.
Place a glass of lukewarm water on one of the freezer shelves. Leave the freezer door closed overnight. Check the water in the morning to see if the freezer has brought the temperature down. It takes quite awhile for refrigeration units to recover from heat loads such as door open for extended periods of time.
have you checked the door seals, if it has split it won`t freeze 100% as warm air will get in and keep the temperature up, bit like leaving the door slowly open hth
First culprit could be a refrigerant leak and needs to be charged. If the evaporator is frozen solid it won't push enough sub zero air to freeze. Call a trusted ac&or repair man
We ahve a two year old Frrigidaire Freezer. every year same time it seems to correct itself(?), like self defrosting etc, and takes a long time come back to its cooling level. This is made in brazil G series. Please help.
