1. Enter the main menu.
2. Select Settings, configuration, personal config. setting
3. Add new (From options)
4. Select Web and provide details
a. Account name: Ntc
b. Homepage: http://wap.ntc.net.np
c. Leave User name and Password field blank.
d. Preferred access point: No
5. Then define access point settings
a. Proxy: Enable
b. Proxy Address:192.80.7.133
c. Proxy port: 8000
d. Data bearer: Packet data.
6. Select Bearer settings.
a. Packet data access point: ntwap
b. Authentication type as Normal.
c. Leave other fields as it is.
7. Finally, activate the above created web
8. Restart your set and you are now ready to surf internet with NT Mobile GPRS service.

Note: In case if if third applications(like operamini,ebuddy,mig33) don't work, follow these steps:

1. Repeat the above steps upto 3
2. Select Access point and provide details
1. Account Name: Ntc
2. Go to Access point settings;
3. Data bearer: Packet data
4. Go to Bearer settings:
5. Packet data access point: ntnet
6. Network type: IPv4
7. Authentication type: Normal
8. Leave other fields as blank
3. Save the settings and activate it
4. Restart your set and you are now ready to surf internet.

Cannot browse the internet i should subscribe to

Hi,
Here is the procedure for subscribing to packet data:
Menu--settings--connectivity--packet data--packet data settings--edit active access point--packet data access point. Once you are at this point you will be required to type in a name for your access point: Type in "Internet" and then save your settings and exit back to standby screen.
You should now be able to browse the internet.

Customer care at BSNL are so dumb to provide the correct settings for Nokia 3110C. Below are the manual steps to configure your phone for BSNL GPRS:

Go to Menu
choose settings
choose connectivity
go to packet data
go to packet data connection
choose - when needed
go to packet data settings
go to Active access point
type "bsnlgprs"
go to Edit active access point
go to Alias for active point
type "bsnlgprs"
go to packet data access point
type "wapsouth.cellone.in" (Other regions replace south with their region)
now come back to settings
go to configuration
go to preferred access point
type "BSNL Internet"
now go to Menu and Choose Web
You will find Personal Configuration in 'Configuration"
and 'bsnlgprs' in Account

Operamini & Email not working on nokia 3110 classic

Do the following steps:
1.Menu->Settings->Configuration->Personal Configuration Settings.
2.Options->Add New("Add New" directly if the folder is empty)
3.Choose "Access Point"
4.Account Name: anything(say Java)
5.Access Point Settings->
6.Data Bearer: Packet data
7.
Bearer Settings: gprsnorth.cellone.in
Network type: IPv4
Authentication Type: Normal
User name: ppp
Password: ppp123
8. Save these settings.
9. Come back to Personal Configuration Settings,
10. You will see a new access point named Java.
11. Options->Activate.
12. Voila! You are done! Now you can browse through the internet on any java application.
