If you are using a usb hub it could be the problem; try disconnecting the hub. Try to plug the pen drive into a usb port on the pc not on a hub. If the usb hub has a separate power supply make sure it is working. Hope I was of some help, Thanks for using FixYa
The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.
Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program, such as Picasa ( http://picasa.google.com ).
If you insist on using the USB connection, do not go through a hub. You can't get enough juice through a hub to download pictures. Connect the camera directly to a USB port.
Don't Use existing USB Portn On your Comp if u want USB port then install PCI USB Card From the PCI USB card you can use your USB Device what ever you want to use
This error occures when a USB device draws more power than the USB port can supply.
To fix this problem, purchase a powered USB hub. Power up the hub and connect it to the laptop's USB port and then plug the USB device into the powered USB hub.
The Safely Remove Hardware icon list all removeable devices regardless whether it is a USB or PCMCIA or a removeable CD/DVD drive etc.
To get around the problem with your USB device that exceeds the power limit of the computer's USB port. Get a powered USB hub and connect it to the computer's USB port and plug the USB device into the powered USB hub.
If your using a USB hub, unplug another device (i.e printer or scanner, fax, etc.). Plug in your One Touch. Then turn off your pc and turn it back on. This should work.
If you use a alot of USB devices, you may need to get a USB Power Hub.
You can try an plug in the One Touch straight to the pc and unpluging all other usb device except the keyboard and mouse.
Let me know if this helps. You also may need to move the ac power to another outlet.
Use the USB ports that are on the back f the PC, not the front ones or the one on the keyboard, these are low power USB ports. You can also purchase a powered hub that supplies its own power. The maximum draw on 1 USB port is 500ma, shared across all devicesattached to that port including non powered hubs. My USB PC-cam took 450 all by itself!
