No picture no sound, will not repond to controls once turned on

Following your instructions, I just found that the F3 fuse was open in my Vizio Gallevia GV47L. Instead of trying to purchase that surface mounted microfuse somewhere at an Internet electronics store, I bought, today, a common 1.5 amp fast fuse at Radio Shack, plus a fuse holder. I mounted them at a free space right to the board, and soldered jumpers from the fuse holder to the top of the F3 fuse. It won't win a beauty contest, but the Vizio is working fine and well! Done!! Found the defective fuse... couldn't find the exact one at Radio Shack, but got a very small barrel one, which I solder directly on top of the defective one.
TV works perfectly... Total cost: Fuse soldering wire: $8.45 (Vizio rep. told me they could send a guy over for $385 tax!)... just incredible.
