I have the same exact problem. Started as a problem with my wireless internet not working some of the time. Then it totall stopped working. Now this error comes up, I press resume and the loading screen with the window and the blue bars comes on but nothing happens and my laptop won't load at all. :(

I have Acer TravelMate 4062 WLCi that had the same problem (Bus: 06, Device: 04, Function: 00), resulting the wireless adapter (Intel wireless 2200BG) not working. Actually the problem somehow related to another issue I had when I noticed my CUP usage shot up suddenly about 6 months ago. It turned out that my battery was dying and the system trying to look for the device (battery). Once I realized it was the battery that caused the issue, I unplugged the battery and just used AC power (always connected to wall outlet), and the CUP usage was not an issue any more. One day, I had to pack the laptop for travel, and it still worked during my travel. Once I got back from the trip, I did not take out the laptop and connect the AC power to wall outlet for about a week. Then when I remembered to connect the AC power to the laptop, the computer was off (reset back to 2005/01/01). I realized the CMOS battery was probably dead because I did not connect the AC power to the laptop. So I replaced the CMOS battery. But it did not fix the problem. And at the same time I started getting this Bus: 06, Device: 04, Function: 00 error that caused the wireless adapter to stop working. So I thought maybe I should purchase a replacement battery. Once I received the battery, I plugged in, but problem remained. I remember reading google search results that someone said to unplug the memory card and re-install it. I was very skeptical about this work-around. However it did work. Once I took out the memory card (2 GB), put the old memory card (512 MB) on, then removed it, then re-install the 2GB memory card, and powered on the laptop, the error was gone. I think you can give it a try by removing the memory card and re-install it.

I was on this forum because I was having the same issue with a Toshiba A75 "Laptop", and I tried everything on here and on other forums and no luck. I actually just accessed the integrated wireless card panel from the bottom and removed it from its slot and disconnected the wireless wires connected and put it back on. So this has worked for me and my machine post perfectly now. Good luck to all and I hopefully this will be helpful too you.

You have a n IRQ conflict meaning you have a device that is trying to use an IRQ slot that its not meant to talk on. From the looks of it you have been in the bios already so go back in and set it to factory default.

SOURCE: when starting the laptop acer

If it just started doing this all of a sudden, then it is a good bet that *********** board is fried. If you just installed some memory or a communications card or new drive, then take it out and see if it still does it. If not, check the installation instructions to make sure it was put in right.

I would firstly reboot and if that doesn't clear the error run www.iobit.com asc.setup utility to remove crosslinked files and sort out a crosslinked registry. Failing that remove the driver from the Control Panel and let the OS set up a fresh driver. Make sure the driver is the correct one!

It might be possible some kinda a BIOS corruption. Let us try this first. ASA computer starts keep on tapping F2, it will enter the BIOS setup utility, then press F9 and then F10, save the seeting and restart the computer. It should resolve the issue. But if the issue still persists, then update the BIOS. Visit the webiste mentioned below:

You should try clearing the cmos battery. It's a small battery on the motherboard that can be taken off. Take it off for 20 minutes and put it back in. Then boot up again.

Laptop will not fully start

This could be a device failure. However, try flashing the bios. Do this by going to Acer's support site and creating a bootable disc with the bios or updated bios, if there is any, on it. Then run this in your machine. You will have to use a different computer to do this, apparently. If this doesn't fix the problem, then you will need to take it in and have a tech run down the device that failed.
