Hardware error will not burn at all - Computers & Internet

This is a hardware error. non-maskable-interrupt
the most common causes :
1. the RAM memory controller is detecting one, (or more,) RAM Memory modules are generating errors.
2. Another damaged hardware device, (e.g. by excessive heat,) is generating the error.

You can download (from another PC,) and burn to CD, a Memory Diagnostic tool from the internet.

Your software and hardware are conflicting. Need exact problem for an exact answer. What type of burner, what type of program or software is trying to burn.

This must be related to driver or operating system or hardware, I need to know more info about your problem. Is there any specific error displayed? Which operating system is installed on your computer? Thanks.

Looks like this is a pure hardware error and the Rom needs a service. Still you may try to reinstall the driver and the burning software. This could give results if you are lucky enough not to have a hardware issue.

Make sure your burn speed is set to match the maximum or lower speed for your burner and media being used. Close all other unused programs so there is less interaction with the hard drive during the burning session. Run disk defragmenter (Click: Start/All Programs/Accessories/Disk Defragmenter) and see if your hard drive could use defragmenting.

Looking at the reviews of this product reveal it to be a less than stellar piece of hardware.

go to my computer>properties>hardware>device manager
dvd/r>action then click scan for new hardware changes

try to update the firmware for your dvd , it will help resolving this issue

Use a different burning sw. You can dowmload trial or freeware burning sw from softpedia or download.com.
