How do you delete ALL photos at once from your Sony Cyber-shot DSC-S700 once they have been downloaded to my MAC? Deleting them individually is very annoying and time consuming, but that is how I have done it in the past.

In the shooting mode, press the trashcan button just below and left of the cursor pad then select the desired image size.

Download this free tool and run it on you card and it should be able to recover all pictures provided that you have not used the card since formatting. I recommend using a card reader for this.

After downloading and running (no installation required) , simply select deep scan and your memory card and it will start scanning, To recover a found file , right click it and select save.

Please note that the file names will probably not be available and also that some of the properties of the photo like date taken could be lost.

There is Format option available in menu to delete all files at once in memory stick or internal memory of camera.
Press Menu -> Format -> OK

You may not need any specific software to retrieve photos from your camera. Using the 'My Computer' function on a Windows-equipped PC, you can find your camera's files by opening the 'drive' it represents once the camera is connected to the USB port of your PC. You will be able to handle the files as you would from any drive, copying, deleting, etc.
You can probably find the cable you need in any photo section of any market or you can buy one on line as long as you can see that it is compatible with the camera's connector. The eBay store linked below is reliable and, in my experience, cheaper than anywhere else. I have purchased numerous items from them and was always pleased:

Pictures are saved into folders on the camera - 101, 102, 103, etc. When accessing the camera from the computer, be sure you are looking in the folder on the camera where the pictures are.

I have the same problem with my Sony cybershot DSC-T20. Ive only had it a year. Please could someone help me.

There is 2 options available in camera to delete data / files in camera. You can delete files one-by-one with pressing Delete Button at right bottom corner of camera. You can also delete all files at once by selecting Format Option in Camera Menu.

Connect your cybershot with PC, go to My Computer, click on Removeable Disk, open the picture folder, select all pictures with Ctrl+A, and press Delete. Finish :D
