I accidentally deleted all the pics on my camera. Is there anyway that I or anyone can retrieve the pics?? Thank you! Phyllis

If you deleted and not formatted them, and you have not shot any more pics on the card, there is software you can purchase that will recover most if not all of your pics. Just Google "picture recovery software" and you will find many examples.

Chances of recovery can be high as long as the photos are not written over, also keep the camera memory card in good shape (no physical damage).

Then you can rely on a digital camera data recovery software to get the job done and retrieve your photos.

There are several good retrieval programs available today. The one I recommend most is UndeletePlus by TouchStone software. It's very thorough and easy to use.

There is software available for free on the internet that will attempt to recover pictures that were accidentally deleted. Open Google and type in your camera manufacturer and the words "file recovery". This has worked for me several times in the past.

You might still be able to retrieve them. Take no more pics until you've recovered the photos or you'll start to overwrite some. Take the card out of the camera. Here's some freeware photo recovery software that should be what you're looking for. You'll need to use a card reader with this software:

Deleted pictures
There is no way you to mass deleted all pictures by just touching the screen. You must first display the pic you want to delete, then press the Trash Icon, then select yes on the screen, so accidental pic deleting is very hard to do.

I believe your pics are still on the camera, else the camera is defective.

Erased pics
If you are using a memory card, take no more pics until you've recovered the photos, take the card out of the camera. This is to reduce the chance of you overwriting some of your "lost" photos. There are many good freeware photo recovery software options that are available to help you recover your photos. This blog article reviews and outlines several of the better ones.
