I bought an I cinema i-HD901 system and it does not have any power cord. All there it has are wires. what do I used- to power the speakers and the subwoofer. I would like to be able to play this surround system through my TV. It only came with 5 wires is that enough?

You .need a 5.1 reciever. Run the sub and speakers to the reciever run the reciver to your cable or tv

wired means 2 wires to the raw speaker cone coils..
it needs to have an amplifier to the raw speakers.

no home CineMA, TOLD NAME OR MODEL OF PHOTOS OF IT Present.
just buy USB sound BAR at Wal-Mart and be happy?

to do 5.1 with 3.5mm color jacks that you do not have
you need 5.1 sound USB dongle.

check wiring on speakers it sounds like you have some wires touching together somewhere or you have a bad speaker.

Buzzing in speakers of cinema surround

i have the same problem. haven't tried the fix yet, but someone recommend connecting the two pronged power cord to an adapter that switches it to a 3 pronged (adds the ground prong). i guess the adapters are less than a dollar and can be bought at most places.
