On F&P machines the inner tub floats away from the dog clutch allowing the agitator to wash without attachment to the drum. When you empty the machine the inner drum settles back on the dog clutch and can be engaged for spinning. A loose drum when full of water is probably not a fault..
37 error is pump fault. Water level not changing.
The pump may be blocked/jammed and be overheating, or it may have failed.
You'll need to unplug the power supply at the socket.
You'll need to empty the machine.
When the water level is low you can lean the machine back to access the pump motor under the tub. Turning the fan blades can sometimes dislodge the obstruction. If the fan turns freely retry the spin mode to empty the machine..
If the pump is jammed you'll have to remove it and clear the port.
Make sure you've emptied the machine as any water left in it will run out when you remove the pump.
carefully study the pump before removal. Take note of the latch which locks the pump in position. Earth wire to open spade connector. Power wires to pump via plug. Remove and clean. Replace and test.
If the pump still overheats it should be replaced or it will damage other components. The pump resistance should be more that 33ohms..
F&P reccommend pump replacement if less than 33ohms.
Good luck.....Nomess
