You can't play the movies from iTunes because the movies are protected. And if you want to play it on Xbox, you could use Leawo Prof. DRM to remove the DRM. https://www.leawo.org/tutorial/how-to-play-itunes-movies-on-xbox.html

Unable to get music from my ipod to my pc
If you bought all the music from iTunes store, once you plug in your iPod to computer, iTunes will ask you 'transfer purchases' or not. And then you can copy the purchased music from your iPod to iTunes.
This way is not work for the CD ripped music and website download music. But you can follow this step by step guide to transfer all the music from iPod to iTunes, including the non-purchases songs. It's easy to understand and works pretty well for my iPod.

Why can't I play songs off my ipod
The 360 wont play protected aac files, the kind you get from iTunes, but you can work around that if you burn the songs to mp3 using your computer, if you got them from itunes, they are protected and until apple and microsoft come to a conclusion on how to fix that, it wont let you do it, if you can change them to a format that will work with xbox, then you can play them, mp3, you can put the music on a disk and save to xbox or from computer to x box, there is also a patch that might work to if you download to your xbox.

I plug my 3rd generation ipod into my 360, it wont play any cds that i rip in itunes on my 360..the xbox replys that i can trouble shoot the problem by tring to play it in my music library but the music...
download optional ipod update if that dont help look at the file types 360 supports a limited amount of types like mp3 and a few others

This has been already answered so many times and people can't believe that the ipod is not compatible with the 360......coz the ipod music files is not .mp3 so the 360 wont play it..... but u can save ur .mp3 files to ur ipod and play it..........better if ull just use a normal USB device

I was given a Philips brdan iPod but own a MacBook
since it's not an apple made mp3 player, you shouldn't need itunes to use it. whoever gave it to you probably neglected to give you the software disc you need to download your music, but try taking the music straight from itunes drag and drop style, or whatever other music programs you may be using.

How do I get started with downloading music on my new Ipod touch.
Download iTunes at apple.com/itunes
Go to the iTunes store and register with Apple.
Start Downloading music from iTunes.
The music will be in your iTunes library after downloading the songs.
Plug in your iPod to your computer.
Drag the songs you want on your iPod to the name of your iPod on the left hand column.
The music should be on your iPod.
