I purchased a camp trailer and the heater that come with it is a Coleman Gold Bond Catalytic Heater, 1971 Model 515A. i know nothing about it. its i good condition, i think it needs an o ring replaced by the wick but i don't know where to get one. i don't know how to use it, what fuel to use, how long the fuel will last. is it safe to use in a camp trailer? any help you can give me is greatly appreciated. thank you for your time.

there are 2 knobs, the generator knob is the smaller of the two

there is a cap with knurles around the edge and a screw in the center, take that off and add coleman fuel.

this cap may leak air because the gaskets get old and crack- so pump it up and put some soapy water on it and see if you get bubbles

okay THIS IS IMPORTANT!!!!!!!! if you have never fired one of these up before~~~~~ dont do it in your kitchen-- you will burn your house down--- fire it up outside first to see how it works!

did you try the limit reset button? It is red and may be close to the blower.If your pilot is on and burners don't come on this may be it

The wick isnt drawing up any fuel? Does this heater have a primer?

Could the wick be sitting above the fuel inside the tank?

You might just try changing wicks and restarting.
