I want to use my att sim card in the Tmobile phone model SGH T-239,it says wrong card. how do I unlock it so i can use the phone...pls. help...my service provider is AT&T, I removed the sim from the tmobile phone and replace it with AT&T sim card. I need to unlock the Tmobile phone...

The sim wont work because it is locked to the att network which means it will only work with att sim cards.

You will have to unlock the phone from the att network before it can work with the T mobile sim card

You should contact your network provider so as to get steps to unlocking your phone from the att network or you should contact a repairer to help you unlock it

This phone is NOT 3G compatible (it's just it's name ...) if your Tmobile card is 3G it will not work. All CECT phones are factory unlocked !

If you mean unlocking as in using it with other service providers (such as tmobile), then just call att and say that you need to unlock the phone to use a foreign sim card. They should give you a code to put into your phone that unlocks it to all service providers.  it worked for my dad when he left the country and had to use another sim card.

How to Unlock Samsung T619:
What you need to start is your Samsung T619 and a NON TMobile sim card. You can borrow a friend’s if you need one.

1 - Power the phone off
2. Remove the TMobile sim card
3. Insert the NON-TMobile sim card and replace the battery.
4- Turn on the phone, “wrong sim” should appear on the screen.
5-Dial *2767*3855# and wait. It could take the phone a few seconds to reboot. The phone will reboot,and the non T-Mobile SIM card in the phone will work,but this is only a TEMPORARY unlock step

I also have a x426 from 2003 and it wont work with the new ATT sim cards either, This is because of the Cingular/ATT merger which created a new network. The older original ATT phone must be unlocked to use a sim card from the new merged network. Try calling ATT Mobility customer service and request the subsidy unlock code. They are required to give it to you upon request, but it takes several days usually to get the code. I know because I used to work at a ATT call center.

Well, first off, an iPhone won't work at all with a T-Mobile SIM card. American iPhones are locked to AT&T's network -- only AT&T SIM cards will work in them.
