Memory card error please check the card - Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ1 Digital Camera

What type and size memory cards? The DMC-TZ1 works with SD cards 2GB and smaller. It will not work with higher-capacity SDHC cards.

To do that, you need a card reader. Insert your memory card into a card reader, then:

Insert the card reader into your computer's empty USB slot.

Go to "computer" or "my computer".

Right click on the drive of your card reader and choose properties.

Click the "Tools" tab then click "Check now"

Check "Automatically fix errors" and "Scan for and attempt to recover bad sectors"

Click "start" and wait for it to finish.

That should fix the errors. If it doesn't, format your memory card.

Please check your memory card for space capacity available. May be your memory card is almost full that preventing you to save the photos. If you have enough space but card still error . please check your card for malfunction. Just try using another memory card to find the problem,

please check the switch on the side of the card. please makes sure you switch it to unlock position.

If camera show Memory Card Error, Check whether the card is inserted properly or not. For SD card, check out the card lock switch is in the correct position and not stuck in between.

You can Format the memory card in the camera using the Setup Menu option (Format). Please be aware that formatting the memory card will remove any images currently stored on the card along with any other data.

If after formatting the card do not clear the error, try another memory card. If this occurs with only the one card it is likely that the memory card is defective, if the error persists over more than one card the camera may require service.

You need to format the card in the camera before it will work properly.

From a command prompt run the following on the drive

chkdsk g: /f

where g: is the drive letter of the usb drive

Please format memory card by going to camera Menu options in
DZ-BX35E and try.
If problem still exist, then memory card slot could be damaged.
Check new memory card in other camera to verify that card is OK.

this error is usually associated with bad memory cards......how much amount of memory are you using.....try reseating the memory cards(ram)....if you still get the error msg....try starting the system with jst 1 memory (if thr are 2 memory cards installd) & thn swap it with the other one......
