Click here to get the part you need. You can also call them for the parts you need.
RCA only gives their part number and not the generic one.
The parts list should have the resistor as well.

Remove fuse that run fuel pump turn engine on till die this removes pressure frame fuel line under driver side bout mid chasis you should find filter just edge of frame check owners manual for fuse location
Hi If you are keen on electronics this challenge lays on the sound IC and associated circuitry. You should first check if this IC is fed with the appropriate voltage (schematic needed) and then check all the electrolitic capacitors around the IC. I suggest to disconnect the speaker(s) and test it with a l.5V cell respecting polarity (+) and (-); you should hear some noise. Sully
I have the schematics for this TV but the only resistor I see is label as R4114 and its value is 10K ohms, 5% 3 watts.
I could send you the schematics.
Let me know if you required further assistance.
Hi have a nice day!
Check if new fuse is of same type that is needed ie 2A , 2,5A as manual says. dont put different.
If you put correct fuse and blows then there is a short circuit at power supply area or after it and your TV must take to a qualified repair shop.
If you are familiar with electronic repairs write me down make and model to look for a service manual available.
Try unplugging your set, If you didnt save the changes this should reset it back to default settings. If that desnt work, you will need to go bak into the service manual and adjust the horizontal size. Just write down anything you change so you can revert back if you have too.
Sounds like the tech you had there isn't too familiar with the CTC chassis. I doubt that your problem is the CRT. RCA ctc chassis have a problem with the tuner grounds breaking and this allows pulses to spike on the data control lines for the eeprom which can reprogram it and cause just about any problem from a dead set to a perfectly normal set and everything in between. First this should be eliminated by opening the tuner cover on the bottom of the board and resoldering the 28 connections if necessary. If the tuner is ok then it sounds like the paramaters in the service menu should be checked. There is no perfect number to set the paramaters to. It depends on the characteristics of the unit and is different on each set and determined by the tech. The service manual gives a procedure but I've been doing it so long I can get the drives close enough by using the black in the picture as a guide for the individual drives (raise them till you see the color in black areas and back off till it just goes away). In most cases this is more than satisfactory. If the paramaters do not solve the problem you probably have a componenct failure. It should not cost much to repair no matter what it is. First get a new tech, one that is qualified, to look at it. Good luck.
