I have a 47' Westinghouse LCD TV. The power supply went out on the tv. I have tried to find another power supply, but no luck. They don't make the power supply for my tv anymore. Is there another supply that I use in it's place?

Hello, it sounds like your power supply is gone, there are two things you can do to fix this problem. One is to attempt a component repair on your own, this just means you have to open the unit and look at the power supply. Normally the thing that will go out first on this unit are the capacitors. You might get lucky and find one that is puffy or fat, if you do you will need to get the value of the capacitor and simply put it on google so you can find a replacement. The number two thing you can do is simply send a quick email to [email protected] with the request for the power board and they will let you know the price and availability of the board, you will than have to do a simple swap of the boards and your TV will be back up and running in no time. The picture relates with your board. Your need to de-solder the heat sink cover to get access to its fuse. Open it carefully and replace the fuse.

The back light inverter board may have gone out, or ir is not getting 24vdc from the power supply module, check those two places.

-Have you try frame Shape...? If not then try frame Shape.

What it is...? It's a shape like rectangle, square and taller area or wider picture.
On the remote control should have a button label " P. Size"
-Try this button . it will change the shape of the picture. If it's still not help then a new TV.

replace capacitor c162 on power supply

power supply was a delta electric dps210ep-2c rev01

reheat any solder joints that don't look 100% as well .
such as c310 .

this is a known working fix . try before you buy a supply .

It appears like the power supply is dying on your TV. There are capacitors that become defective and will need to be replace to restore the TV functionality.
